R50/53 Am I feathering the clutch? Is this good? Bad?

yep....what pancakex said...

It's just a good way to learn about where the friction point is and the range in which the clutch slips in that particular car....

It's just for practice.... as soon as the car is rolling you can stop and try again.

It's probably not particularly good for your clutch, but you wouldn't be doing it all the time - just a few times for learning...
