Stumbled upon this in another universe... it's probably been posted on NAM before, but I can't find it.)

At first glance, I though it was a MCS, but then looking at the vents, I guess its a MC. Its too over exposed so I cant see the hood very well, but I think its a MC.

You can see it at most Atlanta Braves home games, it comes out during the Delta advertizing break between innings. 95% sure its an MC

yep, that's downtown Atlanta in the background. A few years ago, I used to pass it about once a week on my way to work. Now I see it around my neighborhood - I live near the baseball stadium. It's really cute.

What does she do for them?

I wonder how wide it is with the wings. I think over 6'6" you need the DOT marker lights... red, yellow, and three red in the center rear.

That would look funny if they had to put all those DOT lights on a oversized Mini.

Ever since Delta went bankrupt I guess they had to downsize their fleet.

I would say the wings are a good 3feet....so 6ft plus the MINI. It was pretty big. The "afterburner" even lights up when you hit the brakes lol. And the visability is HORRIBLE if you can't figure that out. Way worse than a Cabrio.

No - the wings aren't that big. I've driven next to one down the connector and it was no where close to going over the line. The wings are quite shallow. I think the overall width of the MINI plus the wings is no wider that an suv.

Spot on!

I have a good Delta pilot story.......I'll make it short.....

On a JFK layover in '97 or '98 the hotel we they put us up in was loaded with airline types. The crew I was working with that trip went down to the watering hole, next thing I know I am talking to three DAL pilots. They were taking about the 767, I asked them if they were based in STL they said no, I then asked them if they flew for TWA. They laughed "We're a lot smarter than those stupid idiots!" Without thinking twice I started stroking their ego and when they finished making love to themselves they then asked who/what I fly....."I am first officer on the 727 with TWA" The look on their faces I WILL NEVER FORGET! They could not say sorry enough! Now TWA is gone and American is "the worlds largest airline" thanks to us, I am furloughed, and Delta is in worse shape than TWA was on our third 11th hour.

So everytime I hear something about Delta....I wonder what my friends are thinking.

Back to the Mini Jet.

Pepr, have you read a book called "Plane Insanity?" I don't remember the author's name, but he was an attendant for I think AA. We laughed our butts off. My wife is an agent for Alaska Air.

Now that's cute!

Can you imagine the fund of going to a Sonic in that? "Oh no need to hang that tray on my window, just put it on the wing!"

Yep, I'm resurrecting an old thread.

One of these was seen "flying" southbound on I-55 in SE Missouri today. A friend called and told me about it, but I didn't see it.
