MINI owner's Bill of Rights
 

OK, let's have a little fun with this... What are some things that we do as MINI owners that others may not understand...

I'll get the list started:

1. It's okay to wave wildly to other MINIs on the road with an ear-to-ear grin.

2. It's okay to park at the furthest parking spot to avoid inconsiderate 'door dingers'.

3. It's okay to drive your MINI to the store just for one item, and take the long way there.

4. It's okay to wash your car every week, whether it needs it or not.

5. It's okay to include your MINI in vacation photo's, where ever you go.

6. It's okay to have a photo of your MINI at your desk at work.

7. It's okay to...

7. It's okay to have an exact replica of your MINI as a remote controlled car for indoor motoring.

8. It's okay to have more fun when you get lost driving to nowhere

9. It's okay to give one last glance each night at your MINI before going inside and audibly say "Goodnight"

10. It's okay to...

10. We have the right to turn a 6 hour trip into a 10 hour trip.
11. ....

12. Have a photo of your Mini as your desktop wallpaper at work (or someone else's, if yours is on order...)

13. Its ok to smile everytime you walk into your garage.

P.S. I really like 4. It's okay to wash your car every week, whether it needs it or not.

14. It's okay to point at SUVs filling up at gas stations and laugh as you drive by:thumbsup:

15. It's okay to deny people rides in your MINI on the basis of being prone to car sickness.

16. It's okay to check on your MINI FIRST THING after returning from a trip.

17. It's okay to buy presents for your MINI at Christmas.

Actually, ITs OK to love your car for all the good reasons.

18. It's okay for Cabrio owner's to motor in sub temperatures with the top down and the heat on! :lol:

20. It's okay to gasp and pick off the bird poo when no one's looking.

21. It's okay to refer to bug guts as remnants of the last meal.

22. It's okay to kick a pal to the curb when he/she offends the MINI.
(well, just in fun - but really, sometimes I'd like to)

23. It's okay to tell the MINI "Good boy/girl" after a great run.

#11 It's okay to admire the car in the garage all by yourself with nothing on but jazz in the background and a nice cup of coffee. :)


ok, wat i meant by "nothing on" was "nothing goin' on" you sick little bastards!!! :lol:

24. It's ok to strategically park your mini so that you can watch it from a window from where you are working.

25. It's ok to consider your mini your best friend

26. It's ok to turn off the kick @$$ radio and listen to the symphony of the super charger conducted by John Cooper:)

27. It's okay to have a shelf full of waxes, cleaners, polishes, etc for your MINI.

28. It's OK to spend a lot of time on MINI forums every day.
29. It's OK to have a MINI website as your home page:thumbsup:

30. It's ok to claim your mini is a dependant
31. It's ok to refer to your mini as "The rest of the family"
32. It's ok to will your estate to your mini.

33. It's OK to drive 700 miles & stop every 150 miles or so to spray the bugs off the front.

( Would be nice to have those plastic windshield tear off's they use in MX racing!) :lol::lol:

34. It's OK to drive with your shades on & watch the people staring at you at every light.

35. It's okay to park next to another MINI, even when the parking lot is mostly empty.

36 it is OK to use mapquest to try to figure out how to get two more exit ramps into a commute. (god bless getting on the highway going the wrong direction and "having" to get back on)

37. It's okay to motor to the closest hilltop just for a sunset/sunrise picture... with the MINI in it.
