I mean I wouldn't hand over the check to anyone but Junior himself

What do I even care I'm not bidding on the dam Mini

If I was bidding & won I would put down a $200 deposit & hand a check to Dale Jr in person for the balance. I mean it would really take a high caliber of idiot to get scammed in this deal

With JR's money, he's probably thinking about trading in his '02 moded MCS and possibly upgrade to an '06 or maybe the new '07 turbo charged MCS coming out. Who cares, he's rich.
If I was rolling in the doe like that id probably be bored of my 4 yeard old Mini and want something new and fresh too.
Who knows, maybe his hardcore country redneck friends are constantly making fun of his imported 'hoity toity' tiny car...so he wants to get rid of it...

Making sure things get done right is just good common sense.Give me a break. It wasn't a "scam", it wasn't something celebrities "just don't do, period" and Jr just might be the antithesis of what you and your wife think is "approved behavior".

Besides, these guys have a million times the budget and salary of people that really matter in the world...like the average enlisted guy or gal in the military that puts it on the line every day for $18k/yr with substandard equipment that's in need of maintenance, if only the budget allowed it. If only we'd treat these people with the same respect as NASCAR drivers get.....I'd agree the joke was over the line.

I am not quite sure if i understand what all the bickering is about....JR is selling his car...who cares how/when/to who or how he acts as a celebrity. Does it really matter?
And whats this about "Real Racers"......they do road course racing in NASCAR as well @ Watkins Glen and Infineon.

I'm pretty sure the NASH car comment was a joke, ya know a play on words
See the following-1953 Nash Rambler
NASCAR driver's car or not, that is one nasty looking MINI, but pretty much what you'd expect I guess. He probably bought it and said "let's trick it out" and turned it over to someone else to execute. Every one of those miles was probably put on by the people who worked on it, testing the mods etc.
Is it true he can only own Chevy stuff? How insecure is that on the part of Chevy if it's true. Now that's lame. If I were those execs I would want him to own a wide variety of cars, so the fact that he drove a Chevy as his "work" car would mean something. By owning nothing but GM type stuff it makes it look like he's having to choose one of their offerings, not that he's choosing it from everything else available.
Gotta run, El Kabong has promised cake for dessert, yum!
