Mini's on the Dragon '06 music video!

Well, after many long and painful days of copying hours of video to my computer I was finally able to slap together a music video last night of this years MOTD. All the driving shots were taking use a vaccucam (awesome). Have a look and see if you can find yourself in there or just look to see what you missed! If you are wondering, I was the black mini riding a car length off your bumper. A midnight on the dragon video is coming soon and hopefully more will follow after that.

(73meg nice quality!)

(20meg surprising ok quality... but I would download the 73meg one)

Wow, great video. What did you use for camera mounting on the outside of the car?

(oops, I should just read your post.... where did you get the vaccucam?)

Risu Jun 4, 2006 10:35 AM

I like it! Good job.

Especially like the shots where the cam was mounted just behind the wheel.

Try the small video. It worked for me. It's still nice quality.

Nicely put together video. I especially liked the scene at 2:37. I bet that MINI driver clenched up for a second. I know I would have.

I had a similar incident myself, but I was giggling at it and my girlfriend was dead silent with a death grip on the door handle. That clip is going in the midnight on the dragon video!

If the links aren't working for you please let me know. If alot of people have problems I can move them elsewhere (anyone have some spare hosting?). This is my university account and it may be getting overloaded, so you may again after a few minutes. They are cutting me off in a month because I graduated so I'm going to reap the benefits while I can

Thanks for all the compliments!

How long is it? Can it be put on youtube.com?
Dying to check it out.

Very cool video Darkness......WOOT WOOT...Nine inch Nails just makes you wanna drive fast....One question...was the first squirrel toast???

RonP Jun 4, 2006 12:02 PM

Very, very cool. Looks a lot like like the Ortega Hwy (74) here in SoCal. One day, hopefully soon, I can find time to get over to Ortega and get my MINI on it.

It's 5 minutes long. I'll check youtube later tonight and see if I can put the smaller version up there (which is still great quality, the screen size is just smaller)

Try right clicking the link and choose "save link as". That will work for a windows machine.

tdm156 Jun 4, 2006 12:50 PM

That was awesome!

Nice video. Actually, the second one played better for me, smoother play and better looking picture! I, too, liked the pucker scene at 2:37!
Good job!

I thought the biker was going to try and pass him! Pretty scary moment at least for those two, I was just screaming "AWESOME!"

From where the camera was mounted you can't see the corners ahead, but I can assure you that I had clear view out the drivers window and knew that the coast was clear. The video makes it look more dangerous than it actually was, which is cool  .
