Do Australian Minis have the tach in the center and the speedo on the column?

I wish mine were switched.

Aussie law states the speedometer can only be so far from the steering wheel, hence they need to be switched. Looks neat but just makes me want two tachs

I like the big speedo in the middle more. It's still a nice MINI though. :-)

The author of the article had a real problem on his hands. He really hated the MINI even before he had to write about it and yet kept talking about its merits. I remember my very first journalism class in college when the professor told us that a journalist cannot be biased when writing. I thought to myself "How is that even remotely possible? Everyone has a bias."

This poor chap couldn't bring himself to admit that he really liked the car, it was that damned retro shape that keeps him up at night. Sounds like Stewie was writing the report.

Um, but then another step down and there's about 10 identical toggle switches
He can't count either.
I think his demeanor is fine. His criticism of no rear seat room could be challenged; sure it's tight but my tweener kids think it's okay.
