I Love Hummers!

After a nice twisty road trip Sunday I parked outside the bakery in an empty row of stalls.
I came out about 5 minutes later to this. I was soooooo happy! The one on the right even left me enough room to get into my car. :sly:

Buying a Hummer must feel like the day after a bad one night stand. How can you look at that car and not say, "What a waste of [insert anything...money, gas, self-respect]."

Just my $.02.

Heheheh . For someone who is really skilled at photoshop, your picture would be a good candidate for a MINI version of this picture:

Wow, that MINI looks freakishly tiny, lol

Except for those who got theirs for free via tax write-off :o but I agree

Cool pic. Your MCS doesn't look fazed

Great Pictures!:) I love to look so small parked to such large vehicles! You know that they are giggling about it too.

The yellow one at least gave you some room.

LOL!

I think that group should go everywhere together. Like a mob. Cooper in front, and hummers trailing behind in a pyramid shape!

AZMCS 04-02-2006 10:03 PM

I thought this was about something completely different!

I was ready to give my endorsement for hummers too,

then I saw you were talking about the trucks.....

oh,.......

Such a shame only you knew how to park.

Funk_Flex 04-02-2006 10:57 PM

A MINI's worst nightmare.

VRBeauty 04-02-2006 11:26 PM

  I'll bet one of those hummer owners has that same image posted on some hummer forum somewhere !

Rick-Anderson 04-03-2006 09:40 AM

Ahh, that's a pet peeve of mine. These idiots park in spaces marked compact-only all the time thinking it is funny. I am waiting for one to do it in the building I manage so I can tow it away. That would make my day!

bravo75 04-03-2006 09:52 AM

I always crack up everytime I see one of these guys driving around in a Hummer thinking they're all hot s---. The one and only real one is in the military inventory and they don't have the balls to sign up and drive the actual thing. All just a bunch of fakes.

theskippur 04-03-2006 10:35 AM

I went to drive a new MX-5 yesterday, and the dealer had two MINIs on the lot. I asked the salesman what they traded in their MINIs for. He said they both traded them in for a new Hummer H3. Cracked me up. He's completely serious. Talk about polar opposites!

Those are modded chevey Tahoes, I love real hummers that are purpose built functional off-road machines.

planeguy 04-03-2006 12:07 PM

HEY!! I was lured into the wrong thread by the misleading title.

Though I do agree that that the H1 is the only real off road vehicle. I would buy a H2 or H3 in a second if I had 60k to blow. My only gripe is that they are overpriced for what they are (Tahoe or colorado)! I didn't buy a MCS to save trees or sip gas or any "sensible" reason....and I suspect most people on this forum didn't either. I bought a MINI because it was the best looking most capable cars on the market....The Hummer is simply the opposite end of the spectrum and if I had the money to waste I would buy one, becuase they are arguably the best looking and most capable OEM off road vehicles on the market.
