New 2006 JCW, what's next HP engine mod?

Ok, FINALLY got the new Factory 2006 JCW and am beyond the break-in period and am really enjoying this fine device. It is a wicked little ride now, however, I am thinking about another mod to the engine to peg the fun meter a little more. I'll take the mods off in 2008 and go back to JCW stock for an '08 trade-in (after the bugs are worked out of the JCW '07). Been there, done that on the first year of a new car and wouldn't touch that one again with a 20 foot pole!

Anybody have an opinion on the next engine mod that could significantly increase HP, short of nitro etc., BUT still be returned to stock later without problems ? Maybe a new crank? Maybe a new pulley from 13.6% to 17%? Much noticable difference?? Any other thoughts/opinions on some additional big power related changes to this JCW??
Thanks!

Read here ... JCW is level one https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=55669

bottom line ... small incremental changes probably wont do squat. You might look at getting rid of the exhaust ... maybe Randys new exhaust gets more HP. Other than that, you most likely need a new head.

You've already got a good power plant...

Put on a better scoop to get more air over the IC, and spend the $ on handling.....

Matt

There's more power to be had, but it aint gonna come cheap or easy.

I say forget modding the car any further if you plan on turning it in 2008.

Been down that road as it has yielded wasted $$'s.

For me, I ordered the car with the JCW kit so to avoid modding.

MTH Tuner software,,,$300.

19% Pulley...$400 installed.

Grin on your face as you mop the floor with 95% of all other MINIs...Priceless.
