So, its been 4 months since I have placed my order. Porduction number is still coming. hopefully sooner than later. My MA told me that the rumor is they are expecting more allotment soon. YAY!

However, I now dream about the MINI about 2 times a week. Every corner I take I speed up and its just not the same in a Hyundai Santa Fe. Everytime i see a MINI I get depressed! When I see a new MINI with paper tags I get jealous. GAH! Just needed to get that off my chest. OK, off to bed to dream about the MINI.

 

you must be on the West coast like me. I am on week 25 of waiting. My mini is somewhere between california and oregon best I can tell. I am hoping to pick it up next week sometime.

This is easily the most difficult wait that I have ever had to go through.

Andy, have you checked with other dealers to see if they have your spec (or similar) in stock? This method would involve some travel, or shipping charges, but would certainly cut the wait time. If you'll post your spec, maybe some of us can do some scouting for you. I'm going to my dealer on Monday and would be happy to check it out for you.

 

Thanks for the offer! However, I need to do the wait thing because by the time the car gets here the SUV will be paid off. So its kind of a monetary thing as well. It sucks but its a necesary evil.
