I'm wondering if anyone has some really good photos of an MCS interior, specifically with the B/G leatherette and the silver or PL dash colors. Last time I was at the dealer I thought I noticed the grey of the leatherette being a kind of taupe-ish white/grey, especially compared to the silver dash.

The dealer didn't have any PL dashboards on display..

Anyone have a pic w/ the anthracite headliner? I've heard a lot about it, but never actually seen one.

Here's a shot of my interior with the silver dash. Wrong seat color but you get the idea. I think for my color combo(pw/b), the silver dash works just right. One of the great things about the Mini is all the choices you have when ordering your car.

 

So the anthracite headliner is just dark cloth instead of the standard beige/light cloth?

 

exactly. also note that the standard headliner is not beige in any way really. it's more of a light grey/silver color. very similar to the grey background of the posts here on NAM.

 

OK, yeah, in looking at more of the pics linked above, it is more of a gray than beige. Hmmm, I think I'll be adding the anthracite headliner to my specs...

 

Thanks for that pic; I just called my MA and asked him to change my dash color from anthracite to silver on my PW/B MCS with Tartan red seats. I'm getting the anthracite headliner, so I think the silver will keep it from feeling too dark. I originally wanted a PW dash; but silver seems like the next best thing.
