I have so often chimed into threads regarding problems with our Minis, claiming 4000 miles w/out a problem. Well, when it rains, it pours. Yesterday, during the 16th consecutive day without sunlight in middle Tenn., I decided to wash the Mini. To my surprise, I noticed a missing vent plug, at the bottom of the front grill, on the passenger's side. The plug is still within the confines of the front of the car, but it's impossible to manipulate, without taking off the front tire and loosening the plastic around the tire well. I also noticed that for the past several days, I've had no washer fluid, and thought I was just low. I was low, but the washer fluid does not feed to the front or rear windshield. So, I have joined the small ranks of those with ...problems. I'm not complaining, I love my Mini..was just hoping not to have to make a trip to the dealer so soon. Any of you have similar problems?

Still quite happy..
Jim

A plug and a loose hose? That it!

I thought this was going to be a real problem

Dude, I hope that's the extent of your inconvenience, that would be awesome.
...and what Keith said, get on the road and Motor

Cheers,
Ryan

Yeah, it's short mileage I agree, but teachers don't get much of a break until summer. I'll " get some motorin" in then. No windshield washer with as much salt and grime as we have had in the past two weeks in middle Tennessee IS a problem.

Not much time off as a teacher? Well, I'm currently unemployed but my wife is working. We did that with two three-day weekends. As a teacher you would have had 4 days at Thanksgiving and two weeks at Christmas. In addition to that you would have had at least one or two three-day weekends for Columbus Day, MLK Birthday or Presidents Day. I'm sure I missed something in there as well.

Get out and motor!!!

Keith,
Give the guy a break. Maybe he has a life.

I've owned a bunch of fun cars in my life, so although I love the car, I love my family more. Most of my time off I spend at home.
