MINI Roadside Assistance rocks!

I just received a check from MINI for $669.73 to compensate me for my expenses incurred when my MINI broke down while I was on an out-of-state trip last fall.

They paid for hotel rooms, rental car, and other misc. expenses to get me on the road while on my trip. The max benefit is $750 and you must be more than 100 miles from home and it must be for a breakdown that is warranty related and cannot be repaired the day of the incident.

See pg. 28 of the 2002/2003 warranty manual (page may be different for newer cars)

Thanks MINI-USA!

Deciding between tires and brakes!

Scatpack: my rear brakes had a faulty caliper that had been incorrectly diagnosed the first time it was fixed a year earlier.

C4: Well, had I been better with saving my misc. receipts, you never know what they might have ended up paying for!
