I did the brake light mod you posted. It worked great just like you said. I would say it had taken me about 15min to complete. The colors of the wires were diffrent than the ones you talked about in your e-mail to me. As it turned out it was #1 and #4 on the plug going in to the light assembly. So it looks to be, all you need to do is make a jumper between those numbers and your in.
WOW! what a huge change. It looks really cool now that the top of the tail lights come as brake lights. They are much much brighter. Thanks for the post. I think this is a mod that is really worth doing. If you would like I can post some pics on how to do it. So others can see how easy it is to do.
