Hi guys

I went to see my BMW dealer yesterday and they said they will change my wrinkled lapis blue seats, but not the whole seat, just the leather cover. Does it make sense? Or am I supposed to tell them to change the whole seat?

thank you for ur time

The seat is fine, it's the leather that's problematic. They need only remove the leather cover, not the whole seat. That's like saying you need a new car because the paint is scratched.

I have noticed that after 3000 miles, my panther black seat base has a wrinkeled patch. I just knew when I first felt this leather that it was not going to be very durable. But I figured it would not show wear this quickly.
