Trust me. Don't click this.

Katiedidmini Feb 13, 2003 08:41 AM

rygold, this meet looks awesome and I'd really love to do it, but I just can't afford it.
Have many people signed up yet? I'll be so jelous...

rygold Feb 13, 2003 09:16 AM

Hey Katiedidmini: We're maxing out at 50 MINIs. We'll get there with no problem. The official announcement went out only a couple of days ago and we're over 15% filled. The Toronto Area MINI Dealers are promoting it. But it's filling up with people from MCO and MINI2. That's what makes this Meet so special. It was conceived right here on MCO and is a completely web based, grass roots initiative.

In September it'll stop being virual, and take to the streets of Wolfe Island and Shannonville Track.

I expect the MINI Meet forums to get pretty active. Drop over here and say Hi! You'll see some names you know!

OK, fess up. Who's been clicking on the Don't Click Here text???? Huh? Who??

Morales Feb 13, 2003 05:47 PM

It's 23 degrees below zero up there!
Sounds like fun, though.

rygold Feb 14, 2003 05:13 AM

Hey, we're not MOTORING around ice huts!

It'll be absolutely gorgeous in September. Today, however, it's minus 52!!

Pebble Feb 14, 2003 05:30 AM

Heh, I'd love to go, but I don't have a credit history In Canada. I'm not sure how I'd secure a loan if I wanted to fuel up the car.

That's funny..........and gets truer every day.

Well, we could always take over Alberta.

orbhot Feb 14, 2003 10:16 AM

>>Trust me. Don't click this.

That's kind of like saying "Drive 55".

Pebbles Feb 14, 2003 01:30 PM

I just have to brag that it's 69 degrees here today! (that's 21 c)

and I always drive 55 and I didn't click that site!

HARMINI Feb 15, 2003 09:07 AM

>>OK, fess up. Who's been clicking on the Don't Click Here text???? Huh? Who??

I clicked. Guilty.

rygold Feb 15, 2003 07:41 PM

I wonder how many clicks we'd get if this thread was called "Please Click Here."
