I love mine! I put the garage door remote control, my sunglass, and my iPod there. And I also installed my custom switch for the DIY on-board computer retrofit where the Euro xenon light leveling switch is placed.

It's a great extra storing space and it is out of people sight too.

out of curiosity, does it eat much legroom?

Or rather, how much farther down does it extend than OEM parts?

 

If you looked at the pictures in that first post ... I'd say it barely extends beyond factory if at all.

 

With mine i feel that i got more leg room. Because the stoock one arches down at theangle and this one stops. Awesome mod. It is the first thing everyone notices. All the people are like "wow that is the coolest thing ever."
