college kids have no respect

I just went out for a drive tonite to actually meet up with a fellow motorer that i spotted on campus when I realized my stubby antenna was gone. I know I am a college kid too, but why do people in general have no respect for other people's property? Its not the fact that I have to buy a new one for close to $30, I now have no reception on my radio and I have to go thru the process of ordering a new one. This sux and it just justifies why I was skeptical to bring my car on campus in the first place. uuggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

You mean you threw out the stock antenna when you got the stubby?

Sorry to hear about your situation, disrespectful people get on my nerves so bad . Anyways just try to remember "what goes around comes around". Hopefully as that thief is walking to his car with your stubby in his pocket he trips and falls and the antenna stabs him in the stomach so bad that he has to go to the hospital . That would probally teach him a lesson.

Ok, that might be a little much but you get the point.

No that was a complete accident. I wish I was witty enough to come up with something like that on purpose.

Be glad that's all they took. When I was in college I had my car stolen after only being there for a month. Then my next car was broken into and they took my stereo and CD's. And then a few months later that car was stolen too.

Put the stock one back on for now.

That's rotten!

First week I had my MCS someone grabbed all four valve caps. And I thought, does this happen to everybody?! (My office is right by Notre Dame University, but I have no reason to believe that a student took them.) Well, over three years later and nothing else has happened to my MINI... but I'm mostly lucky and I have a garage to keep the car safe at night.

Sorry about what happened, but have they changed the MINI. I know the 02 - 05's had a dual antenna system. I can remove my roof antenna and still get reception no matter where I go.

It doesn't change the fact of what happened and that you have to replace it.

In that case, your antenna is now safely on a car in Mexico.
