My new MINI is at the dealership (East Bay Mini in Pleasanton California)!! I'll be picking it up in the next day or two and would appreciate any advice about what I should make sure the dealer does before I leave. Any and all experience and advice is welcome and appreciated. What should I be looking out for?

 

follow the handy links link in my sig. There you will find a check list that has been assembled to assist you in your delivery. You might want to make modifications to based on your model/options, but it's a good starting point.

Just be sure to check the owners manual for the radio codes too! if you disconnect the battery and reconnect it, the radio will not work without them. YIKES

 

i say you should really check over the car yourself, they'll assure you that many people have inspected it but take the time to inspect it because if you notice anything wrong with it there it will have to be fixed but the moment you drive off the lot they could argue that it was your fault.
