I'm going crazy!!

I think I am having one of the worst days ever.

I ordered my MINI in August, and have been tracking him everyday. Well just the other day it made it to land, and then sent off to the dealer.

The expected arival date yesterdy was 10-4-2005. Today the date cahnged to 10-3-2005. So this leads me to think that it made it to my dealer on Monday. And I know my dealer doesn't work on Tuesdays, so I wasn't too worried. They have to install the security system, and what not.

So today I am all excited that I might get my MINI, so I call just before lunch (11am), and the lady on the phone tells me my dealer is out of the office. :eek2: Looks like he might be out all week! I'm just so upset. What the heck am I to do? I want my MINI! And I am all out of waiting.... The other reason I am upset is that I am going to be busy Thursday - Saturday, and there is no way I can pick it up.

I wouldn't be so upset if I knew it was still on its way or something. But to think Bean is just sitting there, waiting. It makes me just so... GRRR.

I think at least 95% of us have gone through this syndrome you are experiencing, hang in there:thumbsup:

i'm in the 5%.

i just bought mine used so i could have it that day. too bad i couldn't even get it til the next day because i got to the dealership so late... but i was patient... was upset because of my poor crippled miata i had to lug home after i left the dealership  tear.

But once they brought the MINI to my work, that's when all the excitement hit me. Besides, i already waited 2+ years just to be able to afford the mini... waiting 24 hours wasn't so bad

I used to sell cars, not Minis, but cars. If someone was going to be out of the office for a significant length of time, the sales manager would ask someone else to handle the delivery.

Not sure if your dealer would do it or not, but worth asking if you're in a hurry.

Sorry your wait has been extended a bit. One weekend without a MINI is a tragedy.

On the bright side, you'll be motoring soon and all of this will seem like a distant bad dream.

 Better post some pix as soon as you can, TBC! Like Yucca said, once you are motoring, this suffering will be totally forgotten!

Nothing wrong with making the dealer suffer meanwhile, I'd call them every 15 min. and ask them if the Mini is ready:lol:

Looks like the pain will be ending soon. I get to pick him up after work at 4pm CST. So the pain I feel is going to be intence until that point.

There is only one really sad part. I get the car, then I drive home, and have to run off to work again! And them work again all day Saturday! :eek2: Have to wait till Sunday to really drive! But the pain I am feeling right now is in my right shoulder.... ow.... I hope it goes away soon.
