I drive to work every day through South Boston where a lovely MINI billboard looms large, A Electric Blue/white S with "0% Body Fat" tagline on the right. (You know the one) So what has suddenly appeared on the Mass Turnpike Eastbound? A biilboard (rather cheesy) with the Volvo Cross Country wagon. And the tagline on the right?? Yup. "0% Body Fat"! What next?! Will Volvo start sending new owners goodie boxes? Will we see Volvo drivers holding up message cards? I'm worried. Very worried!

I have perhaps another imitation spotting. Everyone knows the old MINI production movie with the truckers who motion for motorer to honk the horn. Well there is an identical Cadillac commercial on TV. (Oh wait, am i just imagining that this MINI production existed, or am I correct?) I'm not sure which production came first but there's quite a lot of "flattering" going on at MINI or Cadillac advertising agencies!

You are correct, there is a MINI ad where a trucker tries to get a motorer to honk his horn. But I'm not sure which ad came first, the MINI or the Cad.
