When I walk into my garage and see it waiting to go somewhere.
When I look out the window of the coffee shop and see it parked in front.
When I'm putting my Ellsworth Truth on the roof rack to go trail riding.
When I'm putting my touring kayak on the roof rack & heading to the lake.
When I'm on a mountain pass watching the other cars disappear in the rear view mirror.
When I'm anywhere and see everyone's smiling faces looking at my MINI.
When I pay for gas.
When I wash it (I can easily reach everything).
When I take it in for service and everyone crowds around (No MINI dealer for 500 miles).
When I see another MINI (Pretty rare) and we wave.
When I'm looking for a parking place.
When I see the road twisting towards the horizon.
When...

 

My Mini makes me happy. From day one in April 2002 to today. He makes me happy and gives me a refuge from the trials of everyday corporate life.

I love my Mini.

 

My Mini makes me happy everyday, but today was a really good day. I even took some pictures of him shining in the sun in front of the Hockenheim Ring (Home of the German Grand Prix). My Mini really likes it there!!

The other night I was trapped in in Newport in a huge traffic jam after the labor day fireworks here in Cincinnati. As I was sitting in traffic a group of young ladies walked by and one exclaimed "Oh My God, look at that car!" and they all came over to admire it and talk to me. When they left one remarked "God, that car makes me wanna @#$^%&*"! (She thought she was far enough away I couldn't hear)

I also love it when I take a curve and my girlfriend squeels and laughs.
