You beat me to it...

I was just about to post this this AM. Very flattering, although I don't personally think "sexy" is the term that comes to mind when I see the MC/MCS-C.

Okay, here's my Top 8:

1. E-Type

2. Gullwing

3. Vanquish

4. Mercedes McLaren

5. Z-8 Alpina

6. Cobra

7. XJS

8. XK8 Coupe

Honorable mention:
Bentley Continental GT

Solstice

Esprit Turbo

Quatroporte

05 MCS JB/JB

Sorry. This feels like some sort of PR plug. The Mini may be wonderful in many respects but for it to be the ONLY modern car in the list (by 40 years?) and for such quintisential favorite sexy cars (like the E-type) not to be there makes me think something fishy is going on.

i see your point. here's the footnote on the bottom of the article just in case you haven't seen it. maybe his dealer gave him a good deal on one.

Car-obsessed New Yorker Joe Bargmann has written for GQ, Esquire, and The New York Times, among others. He’s owned everything from a 1962 Triumph TR4 to a 1964 Rambler to a 1973 Cadillac Eldorado.

I disagree with the V12 because they don't have the covered headlights. That's not as sexy as the Series I cars, even if they had fewer cyliders!

I think I'd have to have some Ferraris on my list: the 360 is gorgeous, I'd throw in the Daytona and any number of 250s and 275s that I can't keep straight. Maybe a Porsche 550 Spyder.

For modern cars, I always liked the Infiniti J30 and the 2nd generation Mazda MX-6.

i can't give the nod to the v-12 due to the front end weight. not a good track car. as you may see i have different motives.

not to complain but there will never be a mazda or infinity on my list of sexy cars. your fooling yourself  .

I have to agee with that guy's number one choice (along with his #8 of course).

The Aston Martin DB4 Zagato has to be the best looking car ever with the Ferrari 250 GT SWB...
