R50/53 Which came first, the clear bra or the stripe?
Which came first, the clear bra or the stripe?
Question on bonnet stripes co-existing with clearbras:
Our current MCS has the bonnet stripes laid down with the clear bra over top, but I had a stripe man tell me that some people install the clearbra first, then the bonnet stripes, makes it easier in case you want to change out your stripes later.
I've noticed that I have some grime building up underneath the small gap that forms with the clearbra OVER the stripe; is there a similar problem with the stripe over the clearbra? Need to decide which way to go on the new MINI. . .
Thoughts? Opinions? Facts? Ideas?
Thanks!

True. . .but how often do you change your stripes, grasshopper?
Seriously, I don't know if we'll EVER change the stripes - it's gonna be the wife's car, and I don't see a lot of changes over the course of time. . .I just didn't know if there was a 'preferred' method. . .

I have the clear bra over the stripes. I think this is ok, but after a year I can notice a difference in the color between the exposed portion of the stripe and the non-exposed. Basically, the exposed portion has faded somewhat and the other one has not.
