How do you escape like this? I need to, FAST. I never have time to escape because I am constantly busy with school and athletics, but in six days I WILL HAVE TIME! It would help though to figure out how to escape wouldn't it?

I have had success with the following techniques:
  1. "Do you need me to pick anything up on my way home?
  2. "We're out of ____, again. I'll be right back."
  3. "Oops. I forgot the ____. I'll be right back."
Other approaches are welcome.

I did that today. Didn't have anywhere to be for an hour and a half. Got in line at a rail crossing , sat there for almost 10 min then to my disbelief the train just stopped. I knew there was a better way, and was curious what other roads there were so I go to to turn around, back up and start going and the guy who was two car lengths behind me, sitting in his blue dodge ram, skinny as a rail, aggresively sticks both of his hands out his window and gives me the DOUBLE BIRD, both hands! The best part was I waved and He had the bewildered look of disbelief on his face! Idiots! Then I saw him @ the next stop light after I bypassed the RR Xing I honked and waved to him! He must have been intimidated by my little MINI Cooper!

Seriously though if someone gives up their spot in front of you anywhere you should be happy, not flip them off.

EDIT: I told my neighbor who's a cop, and who's son is the police chief, about this incident, and described the vehicle when asked. It turns out they are actually looking for this guy, because he has some sort of disorder and has run a couple of people off the road on their way to work!
Should have written down his liscense plate no. !

Quoted from the Vancouver Sun, May 20, 2005.....

"...for the past couple of years, my choice of four-wheel antidepressant has been the Mini Cooper S with the John Cooper Works (JCW) performance package. Why? For the simple reason that there is no other car for near the same price that makes me feel like a racecar driver.

Sure, there are faster, better looking, more exclusive cars out there, but few provide the visceral ya-yas to blow out the cobwebs of a fuzzy mind without resorting to terminal velocities. Being in such a small car so low to the ground provides an inflated sense of speed that even a relatively sane rate of knots can cause a smile to break out."

I especially like the "visceral ya-yas" phrase!!
