As I don't get my MINI until June, I'm STILL driving my '88 Dodge Shadow with faded paint on the roof and hood that doesn't even have air-conditioning! GAD! I can't wait until June!!

Cheers!
Bill

Sold a '86 Isuzu 4x4 P'up to make room in the garage (next to the '74 MG Midget). Also have a Grand Voyager "minivan" for serious hauling.

I'm driving a 96 Subaru Outback with 100k miles on it. Sensible, reliable, conservative, practical---and I'm DUMPING it for my Mini when it arrives in March! Bwahahahaha!!

MY other vehicle is also a mini a 94 dodge grand caravan (not so) mini van. We don't have the tent option but it has been used for camping. Mostly at the Watkins Glen race track.

Red/black 1989 BMW 325i convert...great condition, well loved, lots of miles. It's one of those cars I'll try and keep as long as possible, and imagine my new MINI will be the same. In fact, the MINI will actually be my practical car, since it's got more of a boot!

BTW, I remember reading a similar thread a few weeks ago. We've got some fascinating car junkies on this site...they were posting lists of previous cars (not a single Aztek...).

'97 Mercury Tracer LS. Very reliable but extremely boring as well. Sold it to a family member of a friend of ours back in July...she loves that thing.

It is likely my other current ride, '01 Impala LS, will soon be replaced by yet another MINI.

I have a white 1986 Diesel Jetta. Bought it when I was 18 (I'm 35 now), and it's the only other car I ever owned. Great, great car...over 40 mpg, and I ran the heck out of it. Even did pizza deliveries for a few years. It has 168,000 on the odometer, but the odometer broke over 6 years ago, so who knows how far it's gone. It never broke down on me, not even once. Now, it is enjoying a well deserved retirement. I don't have the heart to get rid of it, so it sits in the driveway and gets started up once in a while just to let the old girl breathe. As you can tell, it and the MINI get along just fine!

What's with the much-maligned Aztek? It must be pretty bad! I don't think I've ever seen one. Does anyone have a picture?

A 1995 Pathfinder. I gave it up involuntarily--it was smooshed by a Land Cruiser. Ouch! I loved the Pathfinder but love my MINI even more.

White '99 Accord coupe w/ 90K which we'll keep as car #2. The '90 ToyCorolla w/ 250K will have to go though.

Our 'parts' '89 Merkur Scorpio was crunched so we got the Mini. Still have another '89 Merkur Scorpio (keeping) and a '68 Mustang 6cyl - it will go.

1995 neon green Ford Escort. It's UGLY! But it has less than 50,000 miles on it, it's in perfect condition, and it's never been in the shop, so a friend is buying it for his teenager. I won't be sorry to see it go when my MINI gets here next month.

'85 190e-16v Euro MB and '85 380sl MB. I still own them and wish I had kept my '67 Mini Cooper S. My ex-wife called it "instant abortion" so I traded in for a BMW 2002.
