Aerial Photo of Wallenius pier in Southampton

For you MINI fans who can't get enough info, and who want to know the exact location of their soon-to-be-delivered vehicle, I was messing around with some UK mapping resources and came up with an aerial photo of the Wallenius pier in Southampton. There even appear to be some MINIs on the deck.

I don't know when the picture was taken, but it looks like spring/summer, and during the daytime. I hope the link works for you!

Here are two much better pictures... These were taken from the deck of the Queen Mary 2 on September 11, 2004.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!
My car was definitely on the dock in Southampton on September 11, 2004. I'm going to run these thru a graphics program we have here at work to blow them up/res them up and see if I can see any further details on any of the LY cars...

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting these!!!!

Just call CSI. They will ahve it blown up to full HDTV resolution for each car in about 5 minutes. Heck, they can probably zoom in on the rear vindow and get the reflection of the VIN off the car behind to really confim it!

That would be cool to have a picture of your car on the dock though even if you knew it was just in the group.

These areas are un effin beleivable, I was at the E.H. Harms facility in Bremenhaven, the amount of cars and the way every thing was run was amazing.

These pictures are VERY cool! Knowing my "Newt" sat on that very dock waiting for her boatride with all her little brothers and sisters all around her. Thanks for posting these pics.

Nice to see the white roofs. But, I don't see as many on the road as I'd like to. I mostly see a big ugly sunroofs on MINIs with messing up the aesthetics, and the point of having a contrasting roof in the 1st place...IMO.

Renault...good luck.

Yes! You're the first person to voice my #1 objection to putting a sunroof in Nugget's gleaming white lid! The other, being a former submariner, was a fear of leaks!

The sunroof is hardly noticible with the black roof...which still contrasts.

I'm talking about a white roof/sunroof combo. Obviously a black roof/sunroof combo is different. I personally don't like the black tops or matching tops.
