Well, I guess that question could be interpreted a couple of different ways...

What I mean is "How tall is the tallest backseat passenger you've transported in your MINI?"

(If possible, also provide some assessment as to her/his comfort level and/or mental health when said transporting was completed. If you slid the front seat up into the glove box, it doesn't count!)

Good question...

I carried a guy about 5'10" 195 lbs behind a BIG passanger about 6'2", approaching 300 lbs. The front seat passanger might have had an inch between his knees and the glove box and the guy in the back claimed he was fine. To add a caveat however, the guy in the back is sooo cheap that he would put up with almost anything to not have to use his own gas .

I come in at 5'5" or so. I had a friend in the front who's slightly taller, closer to 5'7" - 5'9". Friend in the back was a good-sized 5'11" (maybe like 210 or so) and he was comfortable (until we hit the I5 in LA). I daresay though, another person in the back would have made it more cramped for sure. My buddy in the back was utilizing a little of the other backseat for leg/knee space.

My 6'6" son in law for about 10 minutes. He then changed to the front and my 5'7" daughter took the back.

A 6' 7' coworker. Of course, he fit better in my backseat than he did in his own classic Bettle. He's always had small cars, so sitting in back did not phase him at all.

The big squeeze was me (6'0-260#) driving, one 6'3 and 250 passenger side, 6'4 and ~250 behind him and a little guy of 5'8 and ~190 behind me.

We didnt drive far, but we wanted to see if we could do it. It wasnt THAT bad, but nothing anyone would want to do on a regular basis. Unless, of course, the circus is in town.

Psst - Greatbear, you might want to delete that post. It shows that you have exceeded the MINI's load capacity of 816lbs, and thus could void your warrantee.

For me - 6'2", but not for very long.

Well dang it if the car has 4 seats, I'm gonna fill 'em!

And that day, fill them I did.

I had someone who was 6' 8" sit back there once for a short road trip. Wouldn't exactly say he was comfortable though. My wife will sit behind me on a routine basis though when we have another person in the car with me. I am 5' 8" and she is 6' 0". Plenty of room.
