After the clutch has ben out at least 5 seconds, put the clutch in slowly - like 3-4 seconds from out to in. Is it smooth or do you get the feeling like the cable is rusty - can you feel it 'creaking'?

 

I hate to revive old threads, but I'm noticing a rough clutch pedal as well...It wasn't like this before, but someting feels "rusty" (when the car is in a gear). If I'm in neutral, it isn't like this. Is there something wrong/going wrong? Did you ever get yours fixed? Thanks!

 

Mine felt like pushing into wet sand. The dealer replaced the linkage and pivot points. Feels better now, not 100% but much better. Tech said sometimes the pivot points get dirty or damaged during assembly. I never saw them but if they're plastic I could see it happening.

 

Mine engages/disengages smooothly after 8K miles.

 

DoomsDay - May I ask how much it was to get that fixed? Also, how long did it take to repair it?

This issue isn't constant, it seems to be more prominent when the car is warm...
