"It's a babe magnet"

Well, that's what people keep telling me. My "babe" experience in the month or so that I have had this delightful beast has been a short conversation with an elderly woman in the parking lot at Walgreens in which she shared the thought that "every time I see one of those cars they just make me smile". Now, just so you (and my wife) know, I didn't purchase the car for any expected "pied piper" like qualities but it seems that there is a certain expectation of others that that was my primary (or indeed sole) motivation.

So, let me say this: I really enjoy driving it. I do. And that's why I bought it. Honest.

Really.

Funny, the car is a converstion starter, but the majority of my "suitors" are old men! Go figure!

The female teller at the bank drive-thru seemed to really like the MINI last night... On the other hand, my 24 year old daughter called my MINI a "clown car" when she first saw it... That's the thanks I get for all the sacrifices (financial and emotional) I've made for her...

It would've been some trick if you were still with the first one, though.

That's been my experience, too. I ws approached by an elderly man in a parking lot yesterday who just loved MINI. He asked if he could sit in her and everything! I let him. I am known to be too trusting sometimes.

She does attract a lot of attention, although the younger guys I work with don't get it until they get in the car with me (that sound's inappropriate!) and see how fast she is.

People who appreciate good design are smitten with her right away.

I got some nice waves and smiles yesterday from some young ladies, as a matter of fact. I do get more attention from guys than girls at the service stations - asking me questions about the CAR, if you are wondering...

for me, it has been young girls and older guys complimenting my MCS.
guys that are comfortable with their being, I think.

I get the least compliments from young guys....they all think the MINI's
are for gays or something.

Huh. Now, I get the most comments and compliments from young guys actually! Like under 21 I would say. They ask all kind of questions about how it handles, how fast it will go - those kind of questions...

I get lots of smiles from the ladies, hope it not the MINI:razz::wink::lol::lol:

 Everytime I'm out in Wanda, I am approached by people asking about her. All ages, genders, etc., are drawn to the MINI! I've even noticed dogs looking at her! And children go NUTS for MINIs. I think MINIs are people and pet magnets.
