Hugs back. (I'm glad it was good thoughts ). You really will enjoy having the roof rack. I know we totally used ours all the time.. Of course we want to see some pixs of David on/in his new convertible...

I think we pushed hard to get the roof rack because we LOVED it on Scooter so much. In fact, I think that MINIvan #2, looks a bit like a blue Scooter -- which may be why we keep thinking about you. So, when ya coming east to see our new ride?? :LOL:

Yes, there will be tons of photos of David in his new car -- he's still a little short/young to use it now (ages 3-5); but we loved it and thought way not tuck it away for him. We put him in the showroom one and he loved it -- of course we BOTH forgot to snap the pic.

We probably have a better chance of seeing you out here than back there. Too many things up in the air right now. Obviously we need to get the car situation done. Tiff hasn't quite decided when she's coming out after college lets out for the summer. She's looking for an internship - so depending on that, we can't schedule anything for ourselves just yet. We're still attempting to get the back yard finished (NOTE: More rain coming starting today through the end of the week ).

Maybe a fall trip back there....we'll see.....:smile: We are both itching to get back there for a visit...

Sadly, we DID have a camera with us! As that was when we got pictures of the car before the bits were installed...

And the update, while sitting in line to get the VA safety inspection done (for 2 hours) I got the radio working. Basically I got bored and started randomly pressing buttons on the radio and all of a sudden POOF it worked... I have no idea what trigured it, and neither does Sirius..

 

I'm reporting you to the MINI police...

At the rate I'm getting to drive it at this point, if the clutch goes it will be all Michael's fault. In fact, this time, HE'S driving it to the Dragon. Once again, the pack-wife will be driving the pack vehicle.

As I will be arriving a day before Michael and WITH the boy -- I think I'm better off with the wagon. But thanks though ---your support is important to my fight to win the right to drive me car.

Good to see the car got there ok, it was early leaving my side, so the delay at your dealer was tempting fate I guess. Take it easy when you get to the Dragon. I'll be thinking of you and the car, and won't be too far away either.

 

OK, yes --- finally, I have gotten to drive more than just a circle in the MCS. I'm in love. Yes, there are a few things I'm going to have to get used to; but I'm willing to learn.

I just gotta say this --- I parked MINIvan #2 in the garage this morning (WAY far away from everyone and in the good wide, end spot where all of those who are **** about door dings park) and all the way through that long walk (in the rainy cold), I kept looking back at it and giggling. Makes me remember when the Cooper was young.

Now, I wonder if I'll get the same stupid questions we got when we first got the Cooper? Doubtful.
