Yesterday I got a certified letter from PennDoT recalling the title of my 2002MCS. The letter said that there was an error on the title. I never noticed when I got the title in the mail but the vehicle type is listed as MINIBUS! Seems the state doesn't (or didn't) have a category for the MINI. Speaking of which, has anyone tried to register their MINI with EZPass? They don't have the MINI listed either. They've got everything from Lamborghini to Yugo but no MINI. After 5 minutes of explaining to the not-very-interested clerk she told me to leave it blank. Of course, you can't do that on the on-line form so I chose BMW. Anyone else have difficulties explaining the MINI "officially"? :eek:

Insurance companies in Mexico as well as the public registrations for license plates and taxes don´t either recognize the car as a brand. They list the car as a BMW and the model is Mini Cooper.

I guess to a point they are right, for example if you get a pontiac, its registered as a chevrolet or a general motors.

I ordered my EZ-Pass a month ago (although I DO love going to a booth with a person b/c they usually ask about the car - esp the further you go from civilization). I have yet to receive it...maybe your post explains why... :mad:
