Accidents Suck!

Well, I got into my first accident yesterday. I took a right hand turn way to fast and bashed my front left wheel. Rim, tire, axel, etc....all efed up . I am waiting to see what the total damage is and how long it will take. Luckily no body damage which is good, but still. Right now I am driving a toyota corolla from enterprise which is punishment enough. I guess I was seeing if anybody could share their accident stories to make me feel better thanks!

That sucks man; sorry to hear about it. What exactly caused the accident? Was there water/ice/gravel on the road or anything?

A week after getting my car out of the body shop from being hit, I was on my way to work. I see a furry shadow out of the corner of my eye, react as quickly as possible and swerve left...nope too late. Stupid deer took out my headlight, hood, quarter panel, door, fender and mirror. Left guts and furr along all the moldings. I took his head for a 200' ride and deposited it down the road, now painted red. Back to the body shop where they stared at me and said, NO WAY!

Double bummer.

OTOH, this is one of the few times I've heard of someone hitting a deer and not being totalled! So, I guess that's the bright side!

Well, that, and seeing the look on the faces of the guys at the body shop. That must have been priceless!

Accidents are merely the unpredictable meeting of two masses trying to occupy the same space at the same time. It sounds more like someone trying to drive a bit above their ability. Glad you're okay.
