Situation im in...
ok so this is what happened, i was driving about 5 days ago and i hit a patch of gravel right before a turn and my mini spins out and i end up with the car over the curb except for 2 wheels on the curb. When i was getting towed out the grill right in front of the radiator and the mud guard right below it got ripped off. So we went to get an estimate and the guy said that it was like 1,200 to fix the radiator, and get a new bumper, paint the bumper, uninstall/reinstall things. I want the aero kit for my car so im tring to convince my mom to just buy the whole front part of the aero kit (which is roughly $520) because i think it would be cheaper, because then they would only have to fix the radiator. Do any of you have any ideas to help me convince my mom to just buy the aero kit?
Since you have to replace a front bumper, switching to the aero kit won't cost much more at all. If you are having insurance cover it, you can probably kick in the extra bit of $$$ for the aero kit piece yourself. Talk to the guy at the body shop. . . .
I dont know if anybody that will reply to this lives around the detroit area or had there car fixed at that autometrics in detroit. But if any of you have been there if you know if they have a cancelation fee if they have already ordered parts?
