I was going to check out these dealers hopefulle within the next few weeks

Prestige Mini in Mahwah NJ which is like 10 minutes from my parents house and
New Country Mini in Hartford CT which is 30 minutes from me in CT.

Anyone have any experience with these 2 dealers. I those 2 are a bust I will look to try Mini of Hampton(a sponser of this board) which is about 2-2.5 hour drive out.

thanks

The car will be here in about 2 weeks. It was completed at the Oxford factory on February 19th

I know this question varies across the board with the million different options and configurations and regional but wanted to get a rough idea of what I can expect to pay for a 2005 Mini Cooper S.

I have a 2002 BMW 325Ci now and am looking for a little change.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

Prestige MINI, with one exception that I have read, has an excellent reputation for sales and service. I bought mine at Princeton, but I anticipate using Prestige for service (I'm located in the middle).

I paid

I paid 29210 for my 05 Mini Cooper Convertible. Only markup was some 500 dollar prep fee which included floor mats and 3 years of detailings and paint protection. (though I doubt I'm driving 100+ miles to take advantage of it)

Pure Silver with Black Top
Xenon Lights
Cold Weather Package
Premium Package
Sports Package
Sports Suspension
Black Bonnet Stripes
CVT - Auatomatic
Nav System
Auto Diming Mirror/Rain Sensing Wipers

05 MCS
Premium Package
Front Fog lights
Rear Fog light
Bonnet Stripes
Black Leatherette

$20,510 took the S home w/ that price:smile:

Military program deals here in the UK are great..I would throw out some prices on the other coopers they had, but a lot would be, imo slightly upset.

thanks to mini of manhattan.
no wait just 3 weeks for it to come in and prep.
not to mention they gave me a owner loyalty and didnt charge me any deposition fees.

they threw in some floor mats the all weather some hats a model of my mini in black. the oversized cup holder. and the aux input. without install.

Psymon,

Many dealerships will charge MSRP but you will have to order the MINI and wait for it to arrive (4 weeks to 6+ months). All options are at MSRP as well. If there is great demand like on the west coast then they can be additional markup especially for any MINI that is sold in stock.

2005 MCS with manual transmission and solid color from about $22,000
If you add options and packages then you can raise the price about $3000-6000 pretty easily.

Not to mention that because it was classified as demo I didn't have to pay Freight, PDI or the A/C Tax. Once it was all added up including the sales taxes I would have paid on the discounted amount I saved close to $4,000.

I can pay to look around.

Macman.

I paid list for the car but the dealer gave me a good discount on their accessories (Even JCW). I got the JCW, Driving lights, iPOD, Tinting, floor mats, truck mat and extention, bumper protector, JCW door sills and a bunch of hats, shirts and a jacket.

BTW, NO MARK UPS, there is a second dealer locally that has a "Dealer Prep" mark up... but not the one I bought from...which is why I bought it there!

We paid MSRP on both of ours. Only options were what WE wanted...got a few goodies thrown in also. Very pleased on both purchases from MINI of Sterling....
