just filled up the gas and ..

I just filled up a full tank of gas on my MCS .. and I noticed my OBC indicated "280 miles remain" which is really weird cause normally full tank it will indicated around 320-330 miles reamin. Anybody know what's up with it?

Maybe it's lazy and only feels like going that farOk,I running and ducking

It's based on your average MPG. Someone must have had a heavy foot the last tank or two.

I'm not sure because when I fill up my OBC indicates 420 miles.

Mine has been known to do the same thing. It re-processes the numbers on the fly so if you start driving on the freeway and look at it, the number will actually go up. I wouldn't sweat it at all.

Mine says it only will get 280+- a couple miles but I just got my car... Is this normal??

If you reset the Avg MPG does it help?

These posts all assume that readers realize that the computer produces a different number depending on your driving habits. A full tank in my car should read different than say...ChiliCooperS's car.
