Shame on Moss Motors

I just got their stainless lower grille with bezel and it is an absolute piece of crap. Give me a break - do they really believe that anybody would put this on their MINI? It is nothing more than a (roughly cut) section of stainless stucco mesh with a $5.00 roll of adhesive back molding – for $149.00!

The only good thing that I can say is that their shipping was lightning quick - ordered it late yesterday morning and just received it - and their return policy is one of the best in the business - six months return no questions asked. But the thing that really burns me up is that I have to pay the shipping each way to return it, so I am out $30.00, PLUS I have to wait for a refund. They should be embarrassed for selling such junk.

I understand how you feel. You could have done better with some chicken wire from Home Depot and cut it yourself. Ya gotta watch what people sell these days. It looks good in the photo, but from your discription it must be a piece of crap!

Maybe suitable for those ricers out there!

Man, you should have shopped around and did a search on the site. For $10 more you could have gotten the M7 Ultimate Grill, which has had rave reviews on this site. I love it, and is by far the best grill on the market. Very high quality.

Maybe if you tell them you're very unhappy with the quality and that you want to upgrade, they'll send you the better grill and you won't have to pay shipping for the new grill or for sending back the old one. You know the saying about the squeaky wheel.......

I bought the wings-logo oil dipstick from Moss and the first time we tried to check the oil, it broke in our hands! I was in Florida at the time, on my roadtrip, and just blew it off, but it was so disappointing.

Fortunately, YuccaPatrol modified it a bit, so the oil could be monitored, but it required pliers to be done.

Well, I sent it back and ordered a set for the front and rear from M7. I didn't realize that they are so close to my office! I should get them next week.

You will be very happy with the M7's. They take a little work getting the front grill lined up (not too bad, just a steady hand), but the look is gorgous, and the quality is great. The only drawback is the lack of a tow hook hole and the lack of a temperature probe clip. But it is livable without them.

I'm a little leery of any accessory that is stuck on with double-sided tape!
