During re assembly can't figure out where this goes

After two months I am re-assembling my r53 and can't figure out where this two pin connector connects to,the cable comes out of a harness right below the thermostat housing.
This is to the engine side of the air filter box. Thanks for any insight!

It's for the sensor on the transmission.
it passes between the shift linkage and cable clip housing, and the sensor is just above the axle.
