WOO HOO! I've finally moved to a status 152! (Apparently, my MINI never had a status 151!). I'm so excited that it's moving along!

 

WOOOHOOOO!!!! As of this morning, Status 190. (not sure what that is but gotta better than status 150)

I was just trying to figure out how to watch the ships cross via the naval weather sites, when I found a tidbit on MINI2 (gasp) that notes that being booked does not necessarily mean you'll be on that ship. In fact, they claim that it is not uncommon to be on a ship and then removed as they adjust their cargo. So here's hoping that as many Club Feb's as possible join me on the Aida.

 

The latest update I have from askMINI is that my car is at status 160 as of Saturday 1/4. I would imagine that it's further along by now and I'll call again tomorrow. Onward and upward!

 

Hot damn .... 160 for me, tee hee!!!!


Waitin' for a train to take me to port so I can catch the next ship out .... I hope it's not too full of a load!

BONG! Found out that my mini "was completed over the weekend" (didn't know these guys work 6-7 days a week, good for them) and that I went status 160 on 1/05/03. Ferris is born and I didn't even get to cut the cord . They said it will be a week or two before it gets on the boat though

Guess I better get this financing thing figured out soon.

I've actually heard that too... There doesn't seem like there's any regularity behind it though. Some people get on the ship right away, others have to wait. I WISH my MINI would be ready to join you on the AIDA, but it sets sail 2 days before my MINI is scheduled to be completed!

 

UPDATE! Just went to Status 153 today! Woo Hoo!

It's good to see that you finally made it out of the 150 status and have now reached 153 woo hoo! I am still at a 150 status, but no worries here. Also, congrats to everyone that is scheduled to board the Aida, I wish all of your MINI's a safe trip as well!!

btw- I never got a chance to thank SMKKVK for keeping track of all of us and keeping the Feb members updated!

Driving_Hamster deserves a special thanks as well for starting the Feb club in the first place

At least I now know I do not have the lone MCS due to be born on 1/10 (weaverpsu, too).

 

I do have to say I am glad to be on the boat heading this way. But I think this is worse because until the boat arrives on the 25th, I will see no status change. Sure wish they could have flow them over in a cargo plane. I hating this waiting. Had to wait 26 days to get loaded and now 23 days for the boat if it does not get delayed. This is a total of 59 days to get to California.

I sure hope some of you have better luck on getting on the boat than I did. It is really bad to see everyone get onboard I had to wait.

Kinda like not get asked to the PROM.....

 

Moved up to Status 182 today! Getting closer.

Glad to have started the club. I am also pleased to see how active it is. Sharing in the 'joy of waiting' is much more bearable with this many people chiming in.

SO.... my mini is waiting for the train to get to the boat. Anyone in England live near a train station??

A little bit off topic but I just had to say I never thought I would be so in love with a car like I am with the MINI. Even though the wait is difficult at times I am just thankful that I am getting a MINI in the first place.

I 182'd on 1/2/03 and according to ASKMINI today, MC03 is still at 182 ..

Me too! I have MINI stuff everywhere... A MINI Screensaver and Desktop at work... I really think I'm obsessed!

 

My spouse got me three mini-MINIs (1/24s) for holiday gifts .. one yellow, one red, one Indy blue .. took one to the office to show off (many don't know MINI) and was caught at the end of the day racing the dang thing down the hallway .. can't say I'm not a fun boss!!!

 

Had the dame date, calle dtoday and MY MINI is out of factory on its way to the port!!!

Congrats all on your wonderful progress. Soon your little angels will be scooting around, and then the real fun begins.

Just an update since I haven't chimed in in ages. My MINI is still waiting for a VIN. Not even to 150 yet, just at the Order Received stage. When should I expect to see a satisfying 150 if I have a 1/24 production date? Does 150 and VIN happen at the same time?
