You know, you may be on to something... I just called and found out that I'm also stuck at 150 (My MC is also PW - like Driving_Hamster). I wonder if they're grouping us together by color... PW and VR are both pretty unique colors from what I've seen on the road! Janes at ask MINI said that even with a 1/10 production date, we are still well within the time constraints. He said we should move out of 150 sometime early this week. Keep your fingers crossed!

I was supposedly 152 (Paint shop) on the 23rd. I am expecting to be spit out the end of the assembly line any time now. Then the wait fot the train. . . then the wait fot the boat. . . then the wait for VPC. . .

Good thing to have a support group.

Are there any web developers out there that have the time to write a small web app? It'd be cool to have an interactive page that we could all update with production, delivery, issue status, etc. I have all kinds of cool ideas. It could be used for future months as well of course.

I'd do it if I could muster up the time, but I dont think i can right now...

Just an idea.

Most of you probably have this info, but I figured I would share it anyways. On the WW weekly vessel schedules you can see which ship your mini might board after your production date. The depature will be from Southampton and the destination will be the port closest to your dealer. The link is below:

Hope the wait goes quick for you February Clubbers. Those of us who have been here before know what it's like. And it must be worse over the holidays - everything shuts down and you can't get good info!

Hang in - it's almost February. I can feel it in the cold Canuck winter air.

 

I drove by my local MINI dealer tonight to see what they had on the lot... I nearly died when I saw a MINI that was almost exactly to my specs! It was actually the first time I saw a PW/B MINI up close, and I'm REALLY happy with my choice now! :smile: (Picking my colors was one of the toughest decisions to make!)

Same story here. Had an order placed at NW Mini (Tacoma, WA) in Oct '02 for a May '03 build and a August/September '03 delivery. Got bumped back 6 months to a March '04 estimated delivery(still don't know why...). Someone's smoking crack if they think I'm waiting 18-months (from deposit) for an MCS.
Choose to take back my deposit and try elsewhere. Towne Mini in Buffalo, NY offered 10-12 week delivery - so here I am with a 1/24/02 production date. Can't wait. BRG/B MCS, Premium, Sport, Cold, RSWS, H/K, aerokit, and alarm.
Think I need Prozac to keep calm until delivery

HURRAY!! HURRAY!! Thanks for the number to call ASKMINI. My hubby called and MINIhune is at status 155 as of this morning. Our b-day is supposed to be 1/10, so all you other 1/10ers out there, your babies may be home sooner than you think.

 

Went with DG/W.

Just an observation, I noticed as of 12/30, the 1/10ers members of "Club Feb" all have the Cooper and not the "S"...mmmmm!!?! We also have the least ordered paint colors (ie Velvet Red, Pepper White)...mmmm!! I dunno, just things I notice as we patiently wait for our MINIs. Are we there yet!?!

 

I know they say "getting there is half the fun," but in this case, I can't wait for the wait to be over!!!
