Rein vs. Genuine Mini high pressure power steering lines

Hi all,

I’m going to drop my subframe and clean things up after I address a leak and was contemplating replacing the high pressure power steering lines as a preventative measure. I’ll already be replacing the suction/return line. It might not be the cause of a leak, but I’m at 105k and don’t mind spending the money on it if it means dropping the subframe now and not now and later : /

the Rein part is 200 and the genuine mini is 300. Has anyone had any experience with Rein?

I bought a cheap Rock Auto high pressure line as well as low pressure lines for the R50. I was happy with both and the price was a small fraction of Rein or the OEM.

Will they fail prematurely? Maybe, they've been running fine for a couple months but who knows?

What I did NOT like was the cheap power steering reservoir- seeps at the gasket.
