GP1 Tach gauge??? Can't find??
Does anyone have a line on where to find a GP1 tach gauge (exactly like this pic)? Mine has stopped working and I want to replace with the same. It has some white outlines and red line indicator at 7K.

The GP rev-counter is still available from the dealer,
part # 62109112782 Cheapest I found online is $411 at Flow MINI in North Carolina: https://www.minipartsdirect.com/oem-...10-62109112782 Shipping price may be excessive though as I've noted with the various MINI dealer parts-counter online, so in most cases I usually order from my local dealer and just go pick it up unless the price difference motivates me otherwise where it makes more financial sense to get it online. And yes, if I were you I'd just get a used regular version tach as those are super easy to find for very cheap, and just swap the face as you said. |
Thank you for the info...yea, $411 is way too much if I have other options.
I will get one and try the swap. Thanks for taking the time to share the info! |

:thumbsup:No problem.
I had contemplated buying the original factory part because surely soon enough they'll be NLA, but it was a bit too much $$$ for me too. AllMag had a GP1 instrument set a while back that I was seriously tempted by, but it was pricey too and it sold quite quickly anyway. I ultimately settled for replica faces, not an exact match as you can see, but I absolutely love the GP look and these worked out well for me. Had to find an anthracite trim ring as well just because I wanted everything to match, somewhat difficult to come by those tachs and they don't sell the trim ring separately.
