shipping and handling cost of delivering a mini

I'm currently in Ithaca and I'm thinking about asking my dealer to deliver the car to my town instead of me driving back and forth. How much (the cheapest) do you think the shipping and handling cost can be if I'm getting a mini from a dealer in either bafflo, habberstead, albany?

Depends on milage, cheapest ... probably $1.00 a mile
the most grab your wallet

If you are buying the car and they are delivering it a resonable distance it should be no charge (buy the guy lunch and a bus ticket back home). My driver charges $1.00 per mile round trip. Another guy I use charges $1.50 per mile one way.

Ask all three dealers and see who gives you the best overall deal.

Earl

It will depend on how far and who ships it and how, I bought mine in Ohio and had it shipped to California. Cost me $1300 in an enclosed truck and it was loaded on the top. At least you have an idea to possibly base cost on.

You'll still pay the standard MINI delivery fee to the dealership plus extra to have it delivered locally.

What's the big deal ? All the dealerships you mentioned are within "spitting" distance of your home town; it's not like you're purchasing from way out of state ?

Get a JCW kit and you'll have hoardes of volunteers to drive it anywhere you want it!

So did anyone got it from Towne mini?

ok, I'm trying to get them to deliver the car in the same state. Would that be a "reasonable distance?"
