R50/53 Let's talk tuning . I'm about to purchase a tune but....
I suspect they use the Bytetronik software as their basis, but they lack some essential maps for proper tuning.
Scaling some 640cc injectors is no easy task.For a supercharged engine the optimal AFR in Open Loop(full throttle)is somewhere between 11.2-11.5.Under 11AFR mixture is too rich and loss of power.If you run AFR under 10, for sure less power and less torque.I saw a lot of tuned file made for R53, but the BIG mistake of the tuners is to try to modify this DME sw using Bosch strategy,totally wrong , because is a Siemens , and most important is Siemens EMS 2000sw, not Siemens MS sw or other Siemens versions.
No one cares that this engine don't have MAF sensor(Mass air flow),EMS2000 use MAP sensor values to calculate the air mass used by engine.
Also Ignition strategy is totally different than Bosch or other Siemens sw.
If you have your tuned file , I might try to adjust the power and torque on high values with a good AFR, free charge for you.I need only AFR logs, and SFT trims logs on your car, and of course a complete list of engine hw. changes.I assume you injectors are not rescalled in the right way.
I guess you have a tool to read and write DME.
We both tested on a Dynojet so I have to believe the results should have been similar. I can understand that you would be upset given the level of your mods but I don't have an explanation for you. I do know that I have pulls pre- and post-mods using the same dyno and conditions therefore have a solid apples-to-apples comparison and dyno reports to confirm it. Honestly, given your extensive mods I would have expected you to have a much higher horsepower reading than 191.
I'm probably setting up a new car in a few months, fiat head, race cam, better lsd, and all my suspension and safety gear moved into a non sunroof car

Adrian has finished tuning my car and I am very impressed . I will make a new post soon in depth about it and my results . I now have no check engine light on and there are no codes present AT ALL. So with all my mods,that's awesome ! The car feels more responsive and it holds an idle perfect . Before ,untuned at idle every now in then if it sat for a few min idling it would start to get a little choppy sounding almost like it had a cam in it but just a tiny tap of the gas would make it start idling correctly again and it wouldn't start the choppy idle again until maybe later in the drive cycle IF you for some reason let it idle again for an extended period of time.. my mods are again btw
15% pulley , light weight crank , real Cai , 380cc injectors , larger intercooler , msd wires and coilpack with ngk range colder plugs , header with no cat and pacesetter exhaust , throttle controller and a tune by ADRIANCL . Possibly more to come 🤔🤔🤔

I will also vouch for an adriancl tune! He was a pleasure to work with and incredibly knowledgeable. The car is so much smoother now. Everything seems to play together much better than before the tune. He also helped with the header CEL code. Cheers!

Good tune can be done around 300$, here is my recommendations from my long experience tuning these cars.
Tools need :Data Logger, can be cheap INPA or any other tool.Flashing tool, the best way is MPPS V13, cheap tool around 20$.
Need data logger so you can read Boost pressure , SFT and LFT.Under 16PSI boost , the power gain decreases quite a bit.
Flashing tool MPPS can be used with Win XP,Win7 , Win10,to read original file and write the tuned file.
R53, Supercharger pulley -15%,can be tuned with stock injectors 320cc for 200HP.Pulley price with is around 100-120$.
R53 , Supercharger pulley -15% or -17%,injectors 380cc.I used most of time Bosch injectors 0280156063, plug and play, no need adaptors,price for four injectors around 100$ new ones.Can get 225HP-230HP with the right tune.Used injectors can find on Audi TT equiped with 1,8T BAM engine 225HP.
About dyno test, from my experience I recommend a test before and after tuning on same dyno.This way you will find out exactly the power gain.Sometimes you will be surprised to find that your stock car doesn't even have 163HP,most often 150-155HP.
For this reason many dynos are called heartbreakers.

@AkumazetoI hope you can understand values from this logs table, is a professional log made with a special Dataloger which allows data to be saved as csv file.Logs are made on same car as MiniManAdam , same hw changes.Lok on knock values, on SFT, on rpm, gas pedal position ,Throttle angle.
However; Why is the AFR 14.5:1 and a full pull log - did you go for stoichometric? Or did you disable all additional enrichment maps to make sure the injector scaling was done correctly ?
If you have any doubt on how my car runs watch this video at 11 minutes in I do a wide open Pole 0 to a 100 plus if you can keep an eye on my air fuel ratios you'll see they are perfect and this is why I'm spraying meth too.
