Led's in door handles.
 

Hey everyone I just ordered my 05 black/black Mini S and I have been seeing alot of stuff on the Miniusa OL about Led's lighting up the door handles on the inside of the cooper. I havn't been to my dealership at night and last time I was there I forgot to ask about it. Do they really have led lights in the door handles? I have wondered why they havn't done that for years. I accually wanted to email some car manufactures and see why they havn't thought of that yet...

Yes, there are LEDs in the door pulls. Gives them a warm glow. There are also LEDs in the map light area over the dash & under the toggles. Along with the chrome interior it's really sharp looking at night. They have also put lights under the doors so when you get out of the MINI at night you don't fall on your face:lol:

One thing I'd like to see are LED Emergency Flashers. Don't know if they are being used these day, but seems when you need hazard lights most, you might have to leave your lights on for several hours which may not happen if your battery is drained--but I would assume LED flashers would last much longer than regular light bulbs.

It's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Seems that anytime a person gets in a new car and attempts to get out the "where's the door handle search" begins. :lol: Several people have commented about it!!!!!!!!
