After reading some of these post, I consider myself very lucky. I ordered my all Black MCS, w/ Option 2 and Black Leather on Jan. 25. It went thru production on Feb. 17th, departed the Mother Land today on Feb. 24th and it's estimated to arrive in South Carolina on March 7/8. I estimate to have it here in North Texas by St. Patty's Day. That's about 7 weeks from order date to arrival date. Not bad eh.

So lacking anything to do at lunch today other than eat, I tracked Louie to see what TIME he was loaded on the Carmen. Guess what? He was the first on at 9:52 am.Does that mean he'll be the LAST off

 

I think I'm at status 195 now. I called ASK MINI this morning and they said I was at 193, but I just checked my MINI on the shipping site and guess what? The wait list was removed and it said my car was loaded on the vessel. It also said vessel has sailed!

Just a few more weeks.

Back from a wild weekend in NJ :smile: I called ASK-MINI this morning and they said that CARMEN is definitely due to dock on Wednesday (!!) They told me that the time in the NJ VPC is typically between 9 and 11 days but could be more or less, depending. I'm thinking I'll see Die Frau around Wed, the 12th.

Cool!

(BTW, saw a LY/B MINI driving into the Starbucks in Morristown on Saturday evening just as we were leaving. Wondered if it might belong to someone here at MCO)

 

If I were you, I would go back thru WJKLOS' posts. The long ones that show statuses for everyone. Take a look at the post dates and you can estimate from those. That is what I did.

I was 152 to VPC in 24 days. Should be about 2 weeks till I sit in her...

So, 38 or so days....

 

Hi Lily - Saw your post from the other day. We've spoken before. I'm from CO as well. Your enroute on the Libra Leader like myself. The ship sailed on time from England on 2-18-03. Estimated date for reaching the CA port is 3-10-03. As you can see from other posts it's difficult to estimate how long it will take our cars to leave the VPC (vehicle processing center) after it leaves the ship. Anywhere from 1d to 21d. Let's hope for closer to 1d than 21 :smile:

While the ship is enroute, MINIASK said they don't have contact w/the ships and won't have any info. until it docks at its destination. They told me to call them when the ship is to land in port (3-10-03) and they would be able to then provide additional detail on a delivery date at the dealer.

While watching Monster Garage thought I woild pop in and see if there is any new news. We fell off the 1st page again. Hopefully when the Carmen gets here there will be more posts. We are very excited about the mini. We saw a PW/B mini at Ikea yesterday. Makes you wonder how much stuff from Ikea can you get in the Mini?

I just checked the Owners Lounge and I have an EDD of March 1st!

It was a good thing Carmen took that two day side trip to Bermuda or I would have to move to the "February" club.

How accurate is that Estimated Delivery Date? Carmen is not scheduled to unload until February 26th. Even though my dealer is about an hour away, is a three day turnaround at the VDC a little optimistic?

HOLY COW. March 1st is this Saturday.

I know I know, tomorrow the Owners Lounge will change the EDD to March 8th.

 

Owner's lounge says EDD of 3/5!

Man would that be sweet!

 

wwwebb -- your post prompted me to check the OL for myself. They have an EDD of 2/28 down for me. I frankly do not believe this. But we'll see, won't we?

Yeah, they have a really quick get out of the VPC to St. Louis since mine is showing 3/6 that is only 1 week after it hits the dock in NY.... but we must be hopeful... I can't remember if yours is a Cooper or Cooper S. Either way they will look good sitting by each other. The red and the green.... two awesome colors.
