2006 Mini w/Nav Can't figure out how to set clock

Just took my US 2006 Mini Cooper to the dealer and when they returned it, all of a sudden "range" showed up on the LED display at the bottom of the tachometer. My model has a separate speedometer and tachometer, with the nav/computer in the middle of the dash. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to change what's displayed on either the Speedometer LED display, or the Tachometer. If I hold down the button next the odometer it clears the current mileage, with a press changing between trip 1/trip 2.

Is it possible to display the clock on the tachometer LED? if so, how? and is the clock displayable anywhere? and how does one control it. I've seen reference to a reset button but I can't find it.

Thanks for this. The extra long 5 second press was what was throwing me. I finally managed to get it into the mode.. Painful.

Does your speedo display toggle between clock, trip 1, and trip 2, or just the clock and trip 1? I thought trip 2 was only available on the NAV screen.

The different functions in the tach display should be changeable with the button on top of the headlight stalk.
