What RPM??

Curious...when you are in 6th gear, driving 75MPG, what RPM are you at? It could just be that I am not used to having a little 4 banger, but it seems to me that I am running at very high RPM's. At 75-80MPH, I am around 3200-350RPM's. This seems crazy high. In my 2008 C6 Corvette, I run about 2200-2500 RPM's. Am I missing a gear??? Thanks!!

RPM is going to vary depending on the diameter/circumference of the tires you're running. Your RPM at speed is reasonable.

Just imagine, if you have an '05-'06 R50 with the 5 speed Getrag, at 80MPH, you are turning just under 4000 RPM (3900-3950 is what I observed).

You're just used to the vette having taller gears/rearend. These don't typically redline until 6500 - 7k depending on what's been done to the car. Mid 3k on highway is normal.
