Hello everyone,

I have recently begun to explore the options for valved exhausts. My MCS sounds great, but it wakes up most of the neighborhood every time I start it and drive it early in the morning or late in the afternoon. I'm hoping that with such an exhaust system I will be quiet enough to operate it without too much noise when necessary, but that I will still have the option of having the exhaust be very loud should I choose to do so. Would any of you have any recommendations as far as a variable muffler/exhaust system? The only ones I have found thus far are the Varex X-Force and BBK Varitune mufflers, and I haven't found much feedback regarding either of these products.

 

Just put the stock ones back on and use an electronic or manual cutout when you want to be naughty.

 

I've found one bolt on cat back from a company in Russia, it runs about $2800.

 

I've always thought it would be cool to have something like this fabricated by a good exhaust shop. Put an exhaust valve at A, a loud muffler at B and a quiet
muffler at C. You could even leave out the muffler at B if the valve could be used to blend the two by setting it in a mid position.
