Source for lower front chrome grill trim?

I'm having A LOT of trouble finding an OEM replacement for this part in chrome. The lower half of it is broken in half and taped together with chrome tape. Any help would be appreciated. 2005 Cooper S.

Part # 51117127931: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=51_4402 (item #4)
Google the part# for online vendors (plenty of choices), or go to the parts counter of any MINI dealer.

Ah bummer, I was going to offer up mine. Just replaced it with the JCW grill. Glad you were able to find it though.

Oh shoot, that would have been great. I've decided to embrace the chrome. If I started blacking it out, I'd have to do it all to be happy.

What's the process for removing each of the two pieces?
