r53 seats in r50.

Hello,

I have 2005 Mini Cooper base... I just bought seats from 2003 Cooper S. the issue I have is one of the connectors on the new seat has 4 wires in it and the old connector that coming from the car only has 2 and plug is different... so airbag light is on and seat belt light will stay on also even if I buckle up...

can I splice them in somehow to fix airbag light?

images attached... thank you!

Passenger seat or drivers seat, did either car have heated seats, in 2005 I believe you have a plug for the occupancy sensor in the seat, dont think 2003 had it.

The 2005 seat has a sensor pad in the seat bottom for the newer airbag system. You'll have to remove the sensor pad from the 2005 seat and plug it in to the connector.
